The service

Gentle Reminder helps you receive reminder texts for important dates and approve flower or card orders by text. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Gentle Reminder. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Text messages and consent

Gentle Reminder sends transactional and informational text messages — reminder alerts, approval requests, checkout links, and order-related updates — only to phone numbers whose owner has opted in. Message frequency varies based on the reminders you create. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent to receive text messages is not required to continue or use the service. The public opt-in form is at /text-consent.html.

Your responsibility for recipient data

You confirm that any contact, phone number, address, or card message you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it for the purpose of arranging a reminder or gift. Gentle Reminder is not responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses, mistyped phone numbers, or card messages with incorrect details.

Payments and refunds

Gentle Reminder is the merchant of record on your card. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers. Fulfilment is handled by our florist partner network. If a partner reports a credit or refund, Gentle Reminder issues it to your original payment method via Stripe in a timely manner. Optional tips are voluntary and do not affect order handling.

Substitutions and delivery limits

Floral arrangements are built locally based on what's in season and in stock at the partner florist. Substitutions of similar value and tone may occur. We do not guarantee a specific shop, exact arrangement, or a delivery time window. Delivery is available in the U.S. and Canada only at this time.

Order status and delivery confirmation

Our partner does not currently expose real-time delivery status via API. We confirm that the order was submitted; we cannot guarantee delivery in real time. If something is wrong with an order, contact support and we'll work with the partner on a resolution.

Optional tips

Optional tips are voluntary, do not affect order handling, and are non-refundable once sent.

Acceptable use

Do not use Gentle Reminder to send unlawful, harassing, or deceptive messages, to add phone numbers without permission, or to attempt to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information, including mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data, and consent records, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Gentle Reminder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a missed delivery, substitution, or partner error.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
